Tamil Nadu Chess Tournament

Introduction :

The Tamil Nadu Chess Association (TNSCA) is the official state chess organization for the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated with the All India Chess Federation (AICF) which is the national governing body for chess in India.

TNCA also hosts international chess events, including the Grandmaster Open Chess tournament which attracts players from all over the world. 

Chess Development:

The TNCA is actively involved in the development of chess infrastructure in Tamil Nadu with the aim of popularizing and promoting the game of chess in Tamil Nadu. The association also promotes chess in schools by organizing inter-school tournaments and providing resources for chess education. It has since played a significant role in nurturing chess talent and organizing competitive events.
