How do I get a FIDE ID and AICF ID?

Most FIDE-rated tournaments will be tournaments within Our Federation organized either by them or by independent organizations within AICF recognized. The All India Chess Federation (AICF) is central administrative body for the game of chess in India. The event was organized by AICF in association with the International Chess Federation (FIDE) .

How do I get a FIDE ID?

In order to participate in a FIDE-rated tournament you will need a FIDE ID & AICF Id. It has been made mandatory. You need to register with the AICF and the concerned state chess association also to take part on any tournament.

And you will not be allowed to participate in any rated tournament. if you haven’t registered with AICF or the concerned State Association.

Passport size photo (jpg or png images only)
Birth certificate (PDF, JPEG, JPG, PNG documents only)

To obtain a FIDE ID, you need to follow these steps:

First generate AICF ID (All India Chess Federation) ID you need to follow these steps:

First, you must become a member of our All India chess federation (AICF). You can usually find information about your national federation. Our national Federation AICF registration.
You can request an AICF ID by filling out an application form. You can usually obtain this form from website. https://prs.aicf.in/new-register

You will need to provide your personal information such as your name, email id, date of birth, Gender, City, State and Contact no.
You may also need to attach the passport size photo of yourself and Birth certificate.
After fill all details then submit form. Then open the Proceed the pay form. If you tick declaration

Then proceed to pay a fee to obtain your AICF ID.
Once your application has been processed and approved. You will be issued an AICF ID number and FIDE ID which you can use to participate in AICF-rated chess tournaments events in India & participate in events around the world.

Ensure your FIDE ID is linked to your AICF ID (you can check this on your AICF profile page https://prs.aicf.in/players

If it is not showing there. Please email to the AICF email Id- Indianchessfed@gmail.com and provide them your details.

How to find out my FIDE ID?

Open the page http://ratings.fide.com/

Input your surname and first name or its part in the search box as “Surname, First name”.
You will find your FIDE ID in the first column (IDcode) of the table of the search results.
