Karnataka Chess Tournament

Introduction

The Karnataka Chess Association (KCA) is the governing body for chess in the state of Karnataka, India. It is responsible for promoting and organizing chess tournaments, coaching programs, and development activities in the state. It is affiliated with the All India Chess Federation (AICF). And is responsible for organizing chess tournaments 

Objectives

The association’s main objectives include fostering chess talent, conducting chess tournaments at various levels, providing coaching and training to players and representing Karnataka in national and international chess events.

Tournaments

The KCA organizes a wide range of tournaments throughout the year. These include state-level championships, rating tournaments, and selection trials for national and international events. The association also hosts the Karnataka State Chess Championship, which is a prestigious event that attracts players from all over the state.

Chess Development
